An agreement has been signed between St. Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of Kazakhstan to exempt holders of diplomatic, official, and service passports from visa requirements between the two countries. The signing ceremony took place in New York at the permanent mission headquarters of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations.
Ms. Motris Williams, the Permanent Representative of St. Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations, and Mr. Akan Rahmatulin, the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the United Nations, signed the agreement. Under this agreement, holders of the mentioned passports will be able to travel visa-free to the other country for a stay of up to 90 days.
This agreement marks a significant milestone in strengthening diplomatic ties between the two nations, representing a new phase in their bilateral relations since their establishment in May 2013.
